Alexander Drops 2 Games

Alexander has had a rough couple weeks dropping games to Attica and BSA17.  Despite that they remain in 3rd place and has an outside chance at moving to 2nd or 1st place with a strong last week of games.

Alexander squared off in the civil war game and it ended without a winner finishing in a 5-5 tie thanks to a late goal from Claire.  Macie and Anna each had 3 goals while Claire, Autumn, Julia, and Hannah each had 1.  The goalie duties were split among 8 players (Kylie, Ashley, Amber, Summer, Julia, Morgan, Gabby and Tessa) with all of them picking up at least one save.  Nice job ladies.

Alexander 1 Alden 0

Alexander moved back into 2nd place handing Alden their first loss of the year.  Savannah scored on a direct kick and Alyssa made some excellent saves in net to make that goal stand up.

Alexander 1 BSA17 1

Alexander went up 1-0 early on as Macie rang a shot off the post and Morgan finished up the rebound but the lead didn't hold up as Hannah made an initial save and the rebound was put in the 2nd half to make the final 1-1. 

Alexander 1 BSA16 0

Alexander played great defense, got 7 saves from Hannah, and a late goal from Macie on an assist from Ashley to make the final 1-0 in the first indoor game of the season.  The defense played strong throughout the game and the midfield moved the ball well.  Great job girls.
