Alexander played in the Red Creek Tournament Saturday and
came away with a very disappointing performance all around.
The first game of the day would prove to be the only highlight as Alexander knocked off the Lancers 1-0 on a goal by Lin from Alesah. Leslie would pick up the shutout in net. Alexander would fall 2-1 to Red Creek in the next game with Stacey picking up the goal on a shot that the keeper couldn't stop from going into the net. Alexander would then fall 4-0 to Williamson, but would get into the playoffs. Alexander would then fall 2-0 to Red Creek in the playoffs, which ended the day for Alexander. A disappointing performance after a strong showing last week. Alexander will look to finish up the indoor tournament season with a strong performance in the 10th grade and under Alexander tournament next weekend. |
