Alexander Soccer Club - 2010/2011 Indoor Soccer Information
Indoor Leagues
One of the reasons for the success of our programs has been the large participation in our indoor program during the winter and spring that includes both leagues and tournaments. We typically play in elementary and Jr. High leagues at the YMCA in Batavia and in JV and Varsity level leagues at Sahlens Sports Park in Elma. Current seasons information is listed below:
We have an elementary team (6th grade and under girls team) playing in the YMCA league in Batavia that starts November 11th. Players just need shinguards and sneakers to play, we will have uniforms. If you are interested in playing please email (coach@alexandersoccer.com) or call/text (585-259-2968). The complete schedule is 11/11, 11/18, 11/22 (Mon), 12/2, 12/9. All games these 5 days is at 6:45pm. The final day is 12/16, we will have 2 games times TBD. Cost is $20 per player. Registration form is below
We have a Jr. High Coed Team (8th grade and under team) playing in the YMCA league in Batavia that starts November 16th. Players just need shinguards and sneakers to play, we will have uniforms. The complete schedule is 11/16 8pm, 11/23 8pm and 8:40pm, 11/30 8pm, 12/7 8pm, 12/14 we will have 2 games with times TBD. Cost is $20 per player. Registration form is below
We will have 2 teams the play at Sahlen's starting November 20th and running 7 weeks with a total of 8 games (possibly 9). We will be entering teams in the U18 and U16 brackets. Games are Saturdays between 4pm and 9pm, the schedule will be posted as soon as I have it. Cost is $75 per player. Registration form is below
All of our teams are participation based in the offseason for all round robin games/regular season games. During the playoffs of any league or tournament we will still allow everyone time on the field but we may sometimes vary playing time slightly in an attempt to allow the team to win a league/tournament.
Indoor Tournaments
In addition to the indoor travel leagues, we also have the opportunity to participate in many local indoor tournaments throughout the area. These are normally held at area high schools on Saturdays or Sundays during the winter and spring. The bulk of these tournaments are during January, February, and March. We take teams to these tournaments based on interest and there are normally several different divisions (Varsity, JV, Jr. High, and Elementary. Occasionally they are U19, U16, etc but normally they are based on grade level). If players are interested we do our very best to get a team together
·Roster size is often limited to 10 or 12 players due to the limited number of players on the floor at once.
·Registration cost is $15 for any of the tournaments, which can be brought the day of the tournament.
·As always our programs are offered to ANY player, not only players residing in the Alexander Central School District
