Alexander got off to a slow start in Houghton and had a
tough loss to end the day but played some very good soccer at the
Houghton Tournament. Alexander got off to a very slow start
falling behind 2-0 to Addison before scoring a late goal to pull within
2-1 but was unable to get an equalizer. Alexander knocked off STU
1-0 in the 2nd game and then knocked off Livonia 1-0 in the 3rd to get
into the playoffs. Despite playing very well in the semi-final
they fell 3-2 to Northwest SC to get eliminated from the tournament.
It was a solid day of soccer for Alexander as the indoor season is
winding down with only 3 tournaments left.
