Alexander had a good showing in their varsity tournament
with both teams making the playoffs (where they played each other) and
one team making the semi-finals. Team 1 tied Pavilion 0-0, beat
Addison 3-0, beat Attica 2-1, and lost to Albion 3-1 in the round robin
and then lost to Alexander 2 4-1 in the playoffs. Team 2 beat
Pavilion 3-1, tied Pittsford 2-2, beat Akron 2-1, and lost to Addison
2-0 in the round robin then beat Alexander 1 in the playoffs 4-1 before
Addison beat them a 2nd time by a 7-0 score. Albion won the tournament in Golden Goal OT and played a great tournament going undefeated on the day. All the girls played well - great job. |
