| Alexander had 3 teams in their 3v3 tournament and all 3 teams came away with some success. All 3 teams finished in the top 6 and made the playoffs - all on the same side of the bracket meaning that at least one Alexander team would make it into the finals no matter what. Alexander 1 beat Oakfield 2-0, Addison 4-1, Tied the Flash 1-1, and then lost to Attica 2-1 entering the playoffs as the #2 seed. Alexander 2 lost to Addison 3-1, beat Oakfield 2-0, lost to Attica 3-0, and lost to Alex3 1-0. Alexander 3 beat Addison 3-0, lost to the Flash 3-1, tied Addison 2-2, and beat Alex2 1-0. In the playoffs Alex3 played Alex2 and won 2-0. Alex1 then beat Alex3 3-2 in the semi-finals. Alex1 then fell to Addison 5-0 in the finals to finish off a great day of soccer in a not so great way. Great job to all the girls on the day - everyone played hard and played well. All 3 teams making the playoffs was great. Great job girls. |
